Here at Burghill Valley Golf Club we have a dedicated team of Professionals to help you with all your golfing needs. From society days to members competition days, the team are on hand to give you the best experience and service possible.

Andy Cameron - PGA Class AA Head Professional

Andy has been at Burghill for 25 years and has been a PGA Professional for nearly 30 years. In that time Andy has established himself as one of the most respected coaches, not only locally but throughout the Midlands. Andy is currently a Shropshire and Herefordshire County Development  Coach, working with Golf England and also coaches one of Worcestershire Girls County development squads. 

In his time at Burghill Andy has built up a formidable Junior section, who won the coveted  national  Junior Champion Club 2017 at Woodhall Spa GC. The Section is open to all abilities of Juniors inc  boys and girls of all ages, with Junior Friday nights and Saturday morning coaching sessions being full of fun.

 Andy is also an authorised custom club fitter with Taylor Made, Ping, Callaway and Titleist.

Mike Horton  -  PGA Assistant 

Mike has recently set out on his golfing adventure, and will be working towards his PGA qualification over the next three years. He has been at Burghill as a Junior since he was 14 years old. He has worked for Burghill Valley Golf Club for over two years, working with the greenkeepers and has spent some time in the restaurant. Mike will head up the Junior Golf at BVGC and will be coaching the Juniors, individually and in group sessions.

Matty Codd   -   PGA Assistant. 

Matty first joined the club in 2015 and quickly grew to love being part of the club. In 2021 Matty began working in the Pro Shop, completing a customer service apprenticeship through HWGTA and gaining valuable experience supporting members and visitors. Matty has now beginning his professional golf journey by undertaking the PGA qualification, with a particular passion for developing and promoting disability golf. He is excited to continue growing within the club and helping make the game accessible for everyone.
